Salary Details: £25,677-£27,568 per annum (FTE £30,361-£32,594

Stocklake Park School is part of the Vale Federation of Special Schools and is based on two sites, Stocklake Park main site and Harding House. We offer educational provision for students with complex learning difficulties, from 11 to 19 years of age.

As our Family Support Officer you will work:
1. Collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to achieve the best outcomes for students by delivering a range of family support interventions and activities.
2. You will provide advice, guidance and signposting to help families access relevant services.
3. Part of the role will be acting as Attendance Officer, working to improve attendance and punctuality of students across the school.
4. Organise and run two week holiday clubs across the schools
5. Work with children who are at risk of exclusion from school supporting them and their families

About you
What We're Looking For:
12. Experience working with children and families in an educational or community setting.
13. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage families effectively.
14. Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and relevant legislation.
15. Commitment to equality, diversity, and promoting positive outcomes for all.
16. Relevant childcare, education, social care or health qualification to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
17. Ability to take personal responsibility, demonstrate a readiness to reflect and
self-evaluate
