Position: Engineering Manager Location: Warrington or Abingdon (flexible with location) Start Date: ASAP Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday Hybrid: 2 days in the office and 3 days home working Engineering Manager This role leads a multi-disciplinary engineering team delivering complex design work packages, including specification, analysis, verification, and technical assessment activities across regulated nuclear projects. You will oversee delivery of specialist nuclear design work, including glovebox systems used for R&D and analysis involving sensitive nuclear materials, for a range of UK clients. Experience in glovebox design, commissioning, or operations within nuclear environments is highly beneficial, as is exposure to SNM/MOX facilities. The role is based in Warrington or Abingdon (hybrid) and includes work on UK defence-related programmes, so eligibility for security vetting is essential.
