This role would suit someone with experience purchasing within an engineering, manufacturing, or fabrication environment, who understands materials, lead times, and the importance of keeping production moving. The Role: Purchasing steel, components, and engineering consumables Managing supplier relationships and negotiating pricing and lead times Raising purchase orders and monitoring deliveries Working closely with production and engineering teams to support workloads Ensuring continuity of supply in a fast-paced environment What Were Looking For: Previous experience as a Buyer or Purchasing professional within engineering, manufacturing, or steel fabrication Comfortable working with suppliers and managing day-to-day procurement activity Organised, commercially aware, and able to prioritise effectively Confident communicator with a practical approach Whats on Offer: £35,000 salary Monday to Friday working hours Stable, established business environment Hands-on role with real responsibility and impact
