Health & Safety Manager UK – Location: Oxfordshire, Lincolnshire, and Norfolk
£60,000 + Car/Car Allowance
This is an opportunity to work for one of the UK's leading contractors on a variety of high-value MOD projects across the UK. You will be supported to progress your career within the business.
The Company
This organisation is one of the leading engineering and construction companies in the UK, providing specialist building, civil engineering, and rail expertise to various markets. They deliver successful projects in industries including commercial, industrial, education, rail infrastructure and depots, airports, waste, and energy.
They support employees financially and through mentorship towards chartership and other relevant qualifications.
Key duties will include:
1. Being responsible for Health and Safety on site and promoting a "Safety first" culture
2. Providing training and guidance on HSQE matters across the site
3. Ensuring timely close-out of actions from audits, inspections, accidents, and incidents
4. Monitoring and facilitating compliance with the management system and standards such as BS EN ISO 9001, BS EN ISO 14001, and BS OHSAS 45001
About You
You should be an experienced Health and Safety professional within the construction sector. Since the role involves working on MOD sites, the ability to obtain Security Clearance is required. Experience with resurfacing runways at MOD sites, including Asphalt Concrete or Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC), is necessary. You will hold a NEBOSH qualification.
The organisation seeks someone willing to travel across projects in Oxfordshire, Norfolk, Lincolnshire, and as far north as Scotland. Accommodation support will be provided if needed.
