Main duties of the job
As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care and support to the residents of the Agincare care home in Weston-Super-Mare. Your duties will include companionship, personal care, medication management, meal preparation, light cleaning, and supporting residents with their mobility and social activities. You will need to be flexible to work 42 hours per week, including alternate weekends.

A day in the life of a Care Assistant
* Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement
* Personal care-supporting with a wash bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care.
* Medication-Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
* Meals Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
* Domestic tasks- light cleaning tasks.
* Mobility - Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility.
* Social activities- Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
