The Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine at King's College London seeks to appoint a Senior Bioinformatician (Pharos AI) in the Comprehensive Cancer Centre, which is the academic arm of one of the leading cancer centres in Europe, bringing together clinical services, research, and education for cancer patients in South East London and beyond.

About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Research Fellow in Computational Biostatistics with experience analyzing complex data sets in translational research. The role involves applying biostatistics to multimodal data, including spatial transcriptomics, single-cell, omics, and imaging data, using AI and machine learning approaches. You will collaborate with bioinformatics and clinical teams to design experiments, develop analysis pipelines, and interpret results.
About You
Candidates should have:
* Expertise in statistical analysis for research objectives.
* Experience with AI, machine learning, and causal inference for multimodal data.
* Skills in Bayesian statistical analyses.
* Ability to collaborate with industrial and academic partners.
* Ability to work independently through the data analysis workflow.
Desirable skills include mentorship, multidisciplinary teamwork, industry and NHS experience, and strong organizational skills.
