Trainer and Assessor – Health & Social Care
Location: St Albans
Hours: Full-time, flexible hours (some evenings/weekends)
Salary: £28-30k
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Trainer and Assessor to support and develop our team of Care Professionals. You’ll deliver high-quality training, support new starters, and help ensure our team provides outstanding care to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver induction and ongoing training to new and existing Care Professionals
*
Assess skills and support Care Professionals during their first 3 months
*
Carry out in-home coaching and competency checks
*
Maintain accurate training records using our LMS system
*
Lead refresher sessions and plan personal development for staff
*
Deliver City & Guilds accredited training in Dementia and End of Life Care
*
Keep up to date with industry standards and update training materials accordingly
*
Participate in team meetings and on-call duties
*
Identify and apply for training-related funding opportunities
Requirements:
*
Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or equivalent)
*
Experience delivering training in the care sector
*
Strong knowledge of Health & Social Care best practices
*
Confident in using IT systems (e.g. Microsoft Office, online training platforms)
*
Great communication, presentation and coaching skills
*
UK driving licence and access to a car
*
Flexible approach to working hours
