Join to apply for the Interim Senior Marketing Officer role at University of South Wales
The University of South Wales is one of the UK’s most exciting and ambitious universities. Authentic, disruptive, and nurturing, we work to build better futures for our students, communities, and partners—economically, socially, and culturally. We seek a highly skilled and experienced marketing professional to support our marketing and student recruitment activities.
The Interim Senior Marketing Officer will collaborate closely with the Interim Campaign Planning and Brand Executive and work across Future Students and the wider University to ensure integrated marketing campaigns for undergraduate and postgraduate students across all channels.
Based at the Pontypridd campus, with opportunities for home working, the role involves supporting a comprehensive marketing and recruitment plan for various markets. The officer will develop and execute diverse marketing campaigns, including media planning, social media, recruitment events, and publications, aligning with the University’s 2030 Strategy and strategic objectives of Future Students.
The successful candidate will work with external stakeholders, demonstrate professionalism and confidence, and act as a brand guardian by developing user guides, monitoring usage, and advising teams on brand consistency (tone of voice, creative style, logo use) across marketing materials. This full-time, interim position lasts up to 12 months, covering maternity leave.
The University operates a hybrid working model, requiring on-campus presence part of the week and occasional travel between campuses. Evening and weekend work may be necessary for recruitment events. Benefits include 35 days’ annual leave, bank holidays, family-friendly policies, and a pension scheme. Learn more about working at USW: tiny.cc/PSSatUSW. This document is also available in Welsh.
