Role type: Permanent, full-time. Shifts include days and nights (mostly days).
Key requirements
* Nursing qualification recognised by the UK NMC
* Valid UK NMC PIN and registration to practice as Registered General Nurse (RGN), Learning & Disability Nurse (RNLD), or Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
* Ability to perform physical tasks such as assisting residents with mobility
Essential experience and skills
* PCS system experience, medication management
* Strong leadership and care planning
* Good understanding of dementia and complex care
* Syringe driver experience, catheterisation, Bloods, PEG feeding, stoma care
* Medication administration; knowledge of Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty safeguards
Key responsibilities
* Medication administration and care planning
* Provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support to residents
* Ensure safeguarding principles are maintained
* Act as Nurse in charge for shifts; team management and shift planning
* Infection prevention and control; liaise with GPs and Multidisciplinary Teams
* Uphold clinical governance standards
