Our Client a well regarded Architectural Practice in SW18 are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in architectural design, project management, particularly of residential projects, and a background in using Revit. This role offers an opportunity to lead projects while mentoring junior architects. Ideally Part III qualified.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead architectural projects from concept through to completion, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within budget.
* Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to develop innovative design solutions.
* Manage the design process, from initial sketches to technical documentation, using Revit.
* Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to junior architects and designers.
* Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
* Conduct site visits and coordinate with contractors during the construction phase.
* Maintain and enhance relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
* Coordinate with other professionals, including engineers, quantity surveyors, and consultants.
Required Qualifications:
* Part 3 qualified with the Architects Registration Board (ARB) in the UK is highly desirable..
* Proficiency in Revit:.
* Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and planning processes.
* Experience in leading project teams and managing small projects.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex design concepts to a variety of audiences.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with sustainable design practices and a passion for innovation in architecture.
* Experience in managing BIM (Building Information Modeling) workflows.
* Knowledge of other design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
