Senior Systems Engineer
Glasgow – Hybrid Module
Main Responsibilities:
You will be able to work autonomously to contribute towards the systems engineering design activities throughout the engineering project involving:
1. Define system requirements and interfaces.
2. Document design and functional behaviour.
3. Develop and execute verification tests.
4. Collect evidence of requirements fulfilment.
5. Peer review technical work.
6. Share knowledge with the engineering team.
Ideal Experience & Skills:
7. Proactive and skilled at constructively challenging ideas and concepts.
8. Experienced in working within multi-disciplinary design teams.
9. Competent in defining system interfaces, boundaries, and external impact factors.
10. Proficient in requirements engineering, including elicitation, decomposition, and analysis.
11. Able to analyze system operational concepts.
It would be beneficial if the candidate also has:
12. Experience of the decomposition of a systems design to sub-system level Experience or knowledge of systems modelling techniques
13. Experience of analysing potential solutions against the key needs in a design brief
14. Experience of using design analysis techniques (trade-off analysis, calculations, modelling and simulation, etc.)
