We are partnering with a well-established international business with a strong presence across the Nordic region, who are looking to bring in a commercially aware Finance Analyst to support performance and decision-making during a period of continued growth.
This is a highly visible role within the finance function, working closely with both finance and non-finance stakeholders to deliver meaningful analysis, accurate forecasting, and clear financial insight that supports the wider business.
The Role
As a Finance Analyst, you will support financial planning and reporting across the Nordics, combining both analytical and business-facing responsibilities.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting with the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting cycles, translating operational and commercial inputs into financial outputs
* Supporting month-end close activities, including variance analysis and ensuring accurate reporting
* Producing insightful analysis to help drive business performance and inform decision-making
* Monitoring and reporting on operating costs and promotional spend, highlighting risks and opportunities
* Contributing to the preparation of monthly management reports, helping to present a clear and concise view of performance
* Building strong relationships across the business to gather inputs and challenge assumptions where needed
* Identifying opportunities to improve reporting, processes, and overall efficiency within the finance function
About You
* Experience in a Finance Analyst, FP&A, or commercial finance role within a fast-paced environment
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate clear insights
* Confident working with budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
* Comfortable engaging with stakeholders across different functions
* Detail-oriented with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset
* Part-qualified (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) or actively working towards qualification is advantageous
