Salaried GP Vacancy
Following the release of ARRS GP funding, Colne Valley Primary Care Network (PCN) is looking for a GP to join our team. We are seeking someone who is newly qualified within the last 2 years, who has not yet held a substantive position post qualification. The role will initially be for a fixed-term, two-year post and for 6-8 sessions per week.
The successful candidate will be based at Coggeshall Surgery, a semi-rural, part-dispensing practice with 3 partners, known for its friendly and highly supportive environment, with an outstanding rating on its most recent CQC inspection.
Coggeshall Surgery is also a training practice that actively encourages growth and development, whether you are a first-year student or an established clinician or staff member.
Role Description
This is a 6-8 session per week site role for a Salaried GP at Colne Valley PCN. Located in Coggeshall, the GP will provide comprehensive medical care to patients, including diagnosing and treating illnesses, routine check-ups, and preventive care. The GP will collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
* Strong proficiency in Medicine and Primary Care.
* Undertaking duties such as surgery consultations, telephone consultations, home visits, checking and signing repeat prescriptions, and managing queries, paperwork, reports, and correspondence promptly.
* Making autonomous, professional decisions regarding medical problems, whether self-referred or referred by other healthcare workers.
* Experience in Family Medicine and Nursing.
* Aptitude for training and continuous professional development.
* Excellent patient care and communication skills.
* Experience in delivering enhanced services.
* Assisting with online clinical triage where used.
* Ability to work efficiently within a team and interface seamlessly with healthcare professionals.
* Medical degree and relevant GP qualifications.
* Experience in an NHS setting is advantageous.
* Awareness of compliance with practice policies and guidelines, including prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, and health and safety.
