Last year we helped more than 42,000 people struck by uninsured and hit-and-run drivers and paid over £400 million in compensation to support victims rebuild their lives.
We\\\'re looking for a Services Manager to be the business lead for the operation and ongoing evolution of the Continuous Insurance Enforcement (CIE) programme, aligning with MIB\\\'s strategy. You\\\'ll own the creation of a roadmap of prioritised, measured, strategic and tactical change aligned with DVLA to ensure the service is secure, relevant and embedded as a key component to support MIB`s strategic ambition to eliminate uninsured driving, as well as becoming a key component of cross functional working to ensure delivery is achieved against agreed targets.
Key Outputs
* Ensure the day to day CIE process runs as it should, working with MIB & DVLA colleagues to deal with any issues
* To take the core outputs of the MIB strategy and develop a series of roadmaps to outline the development plan for MIB\\\'s key CIE programme for the next 5 years
* To focus on the uninsured driving prevention, and data service strategic ambitions as a priority to ensure the inflight and new initiatives are aligned
* To contribute meaningfully to the development of business case and benefit cases so as to secure buy-in of strategic initiatives, along with mechanisms to track benefit realisation
* To be the business lead for the creation of CIE roadmaps and their development there after, working in conjunction with central services teams to ensure consistency is achieved
* To work with Business Change areas to ensure initiatives are sequenced and documented on the roadmaps, working with Programme teams in technology to ensure roadmaps align and dependencies are clear
* To work with the business and IS to help establish and maintain a clear and current picture of our \\\'as-is\\\' landscape of products and services, and work collaboratively on \\\'to-be\\\' views if required to ensure planning alignment is achieved
* In collaboration with the Comms and campaigns team actively seek out storytelling opportunities that are capable of being used to promote activity to underpin the strategy.
* To act as a conduit between DVLA, the business and IS ensuring that MIB has an understanding of new and emerging technology and trends and patterns, which will influence CIE development
* Own the day to day responsibility of ensuring the transfer of information between MIB service desk and DVLA operations is undertaken in accordance with the process that exists
* Create and Co-create presentation materials to be used in promotion of MIB`s strategic objective to eliminate uninsured driving
* Support the Head of Uninsured Driving Prevention with Government level concepts that support the core strategic ambition to eliminate uninsured driving

Qualifications and Education
Skills and Knowledge
* Experience developing and maintaining product roadmaps, ideally in insurance or financial service industries
* Experience of customer and stakeholder management, including delivering presentations to groups of varying sizes and up to c-suite
* Experience in developing financial and customer experience-led business cases
* MIB level understanding of CIE is helpful but not essential
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts including immature emerging ideas to a broad audience
* Strong influencing and negotiating skills
* Self reliant, ability to work without supervision
Salary circa £63,000 per annum
Grade 13
35 hours per week (Monday - Friday)
