About Us

Appvia is a specialist cloud, platform engineering, and AI enablement consultancy, helping organisations design, build, and operate modern cloud platforms at scale.

We partner with public and private sector organisations to modernise infrastructure, improve developer productivity, and embed strong platform engineering practices. Our teams work across AWS, Azure, Data & AI, and software delivery, helping customers adopt cloud-native approaches that enable reliable, scalable digital services.

About the role

We are looking for a mid-level Azure Cloud Engineer to join our growing Azure practice.

This role sits between traditional cloud engineering, SRE and platform engineering, supporting the reliability, automation, and day-to-day operation of modern Azure platforms. You will work closely with senior platform engineers to help maintain and improve cloud environments, automate infrastructure, and support development teams operating on Azure.

A core focus of the role will be working with Terraform and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), helping ensure platforms remain stable, secure, and scalable while contributing to continuous improvements in automation and delivery.

This role is designed as a growth pathway into Platform Engineering, giving you the opportunity to develop deeper expertise in infrastructure automation, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices while working alongside experienced consultants and engineers.

Interview process - 3 stage

* Discovery conversation with Talent Acquisition

Responsibilities

* Support the operation and reliability of Azure-based cloud platforms
* Implement and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and Azure-native tooling
* Assist with managing and improving AKS clusters and containerised workloads
* Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation that improve delivery workflows
