We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Site Manager / Finishing Manager to work on a new build housing development in the Shrewsbury area. The scheme is a mixed development of Houses and apartments, 46 units in total. You will be joining an established site team to drive the internal works through to handover in January 2027.
The Role
As Finishing Manager, you will take responsibility for managing and coordinating all internal and external finishing works to achieve programme, quality and safety targets.
Key duties will include:
1. Take responsibility for managing and coordinating all internal and external finishing works
2. Oversee all finishing trades through to successful handover
3. Manage subcontractors, quality control and defect resolution
4. Drive programme delivery against key milestones and report progress
5. Coordinate with Site Management and Project Management teams
6. Ensure works are delivered to the highest standards of quality and health & safety
