We are currently looking for a passionate Solicitor to join our well renowned Inheritance Protection team. Working in a small but expanding team, and reporting to the Head of Department, you will be responsible for providing advice and assistance to a range of clients. This role is office based in Lake House, Port Solent.
Role Responsibilities
As a Solicitor you will be responsible for delivering our mission of Great Service, Every Client, Every Time by taking a professional, client-first approach to every case. You will be expected to effectively and efficiently managing your own diverse caseload providing sound, professional advice to clients to the following but with a focus on the Administration of Deceased Estates:
* Wills
* Trusts
* Lasting Powers of Attorney
* The Administration of Deceased Estates
* Inheritance tax and care home fee planning
* Lifetime gifting
* Declarations of Trust
Job Requirements
Our ideal candidate will be someone with proven experience who takes a professional, client-first approach to each case they run. They will have sound knowledge and expertise in the field, exceptional attention to detail and the ability to communicate in a friendly, professional and confidential manner. The role will suit those with a positive and flexible approach and an ability to remain calm under pressure in order to project the image and ethos of the firm at all times.
Whilst character is important to us, we do require a certain level of experience and qualification to succeed in this role. These are:
* Must hold qualified solicitor status in England and Wales or be a qualified Legal Executive.
* Minimum 4 years post qualification experience dealing with inheritance protection matters within England and Wales.
* STEP qualified (or in progress) is desirable but not essential.
