Your new school is a large secondary school located in East Lancashire. The school is coeducational and caters for pupils aged 11 – 16. Your new role
Joining a high achieving department, you will be responsible for teaching Music to KS4. The role is tomence from January 2026 and will operate, full time, on a temporary basis covering a maternity absence. As the role is long term, you will be required to plan and prepare all lessons whilst differentiating in pupil ability. You will also be required to mark and assess all work ensuring that pupils are progressing in line with their target grades.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in securing this position, it is essential that you hold a teaching qualification such as QTS, QTLS or PGCE and have experience of teaching Music to KS4. You must be able tomence the role from January 2026 and be able tomit to the full duration of the assignment.
