Order Processing Administrator
Location: Hybrid
We are looking for an Order Processing Administrator to join our team.
As an Order Processing Administrator, you will work closely with Datel’s Suppliers, Sales Teams and Project Management Teams to ensure orders are processed and managed in line with Datel’s standards.
What you’ll do
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end‑to‑end flow of customer and supplier orders with care, accuracy and professionalism.
* Manage customer purchase orders and sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is correctly recorded within our CRM and finance systems.
* Oversee sales and purchase invoicing, working collaboratively with sales, project management and finance teams to resolve queries or discrepancies.
* Raise supplier purchase orders and authorise supplier purchase invoices, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
* Advise and guide both internal and external stakeholders on order management processes, ensuring consistency, compliance and clarity.
* Maintain order flow during fast paced periods such as month end, quarter end and year end to keep operations running smoothly.
What to bring
* 3‑5 years’ experience in order management or a closely related role, with a proven ability to work accurately and confidently in a high volume environment.
* Experience within a similar industry is an advantage, though not essential.
* Comfortable using CRM systems and finance platforms, with Sage knowledge considered beneficial.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook, is essential.
* Excellent communication skills and confidence to work effectively with both internal colleagues and external stakeholders.
* Detail‑oriented, well organised, able to prioritise effectively under time pressure, with problem‑solving mindset and a genuine customer‑first approach.
* Ability to work independently when required and collaboratively as part of a wider team, either remotely or in the office.
* Handle information with care, confidentiality and accountability for delivering high quality work.
