Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, with the ability to inspire and develop young athletes in a safe and encouraging environment. As a Gymnastics Coach, you will play a crucial role in fostering a love for gymnastics while promoting physical fitness, discipline, and teamwork among participants.
Duties
* Develop and implement engaging training programmes tailored to various skill levels, from beginners to advanced gymnasts.
* Conduct regular coaching sessions following plans structured on focusing on technique, strength, flexibility, and overall performance improvement.
* Provide constructive feedback and support to athletes to enhance their skills and confidence.
* Ensure the safety of all participants by maintaining a secure training environment and adhering to safety protocols.
* Attend internal competitions as required.
* Communicate effectively with participants, parents, and other staff members regarding progress, goals, and any concerns.
* Stay updated on the latest coaching techniques and gymnastics trends to continually improve coaching methods.
Requirements
* Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching, particularly in gymnastics or related disciplines. A level 1 qualification is preffered but not essential as training can be provided.
* Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques, rules, and safety practices.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire young participants.
* Ability to work well within a team environment as well as independently.
* A passion for promoting physical fitness and healthy lifestyles among youth.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Temporary, Zero hours contract
Pay: £7.71-£12.52 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
