We are looking for a Customer Service Advisor Yard to join the team at our Poole branch. Hours- 07.00 – 16.30 or 07.30 - 17.00 Monday to Friday and every other Saturday morning 08.00 -12.00 Location- 79 Ringwood Road Parkstone Poole BH14 0RA Key Responsibilities: To undertake warehouse and yard duties to ensure customer needs are met, promote and maximise sales and margins by providing excellent customer service whilst maintaining a safe environment that is in line with company policies and procedures. CUSTOMER SALES: Contribute towards an excellent customer experience and work towards Branch sales and profit targets by: Fulfilling customer orders in a timely fashion Help to prepare customer orders, load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a Forklift Truck to minimise manual handling (training will be provided) Checking incoming products against Proof of Delivery Completing documentation as necessary Realising full potential of all customer interactions and build effective relationships with customers and suppliers Understanding local market issues and communicate to Manager to support sales growth plans Report missing or damaged products to management Get to know our product lines so you can offer advice and help to customers, making the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson Values OPERATIONAL COMPLIANCE: Support Line Manager to: Deliver key KPIs for your branch Manage loading and unloading process (customer/supplier deliveries, interbranch transfers) Adhere to all company policies and procedures Safeguard Company’s stock, money and all other Company assets Enhance the Safety and Wellbeing culture and meet targets Carry out all cash transactions and till processes accurately and safeguard companies stock, money and all other company assets What’s in it for you? : Retirement Savings Plan (Pension) – with Legal & General Life Assurance - From your first day of employment with us you are automatically covered for a lump-sum death in service benefit of 2 x your basic salary.
