You will be joining the Platform Engineering team, a specialised technology group that bridges the gap between the investment and technology functions. This team plays a critical role in supporting portfolio managers by setting up and optimising their Python environments to streamline research, development, and implementation processes. Working closely with the Head of Technology, portfolio managers, and traders, you will help build and enhance the firm’s Python infrastructure, directly influencing the efficiency and performance of the trading strategies.

Key Responsibilities will include:

* Taking ownership of technical projects with a focus on increasing automation and operational efficiency.
* Supporting the integration of various tasks across the business, such as the implementation of a central risk infrastructure.
* Working closely with Quantitative, Finance, and Trading teams to deliver tailored technical solutions.
* Embracing a hands-on approach, actively contributing to problem-solving and product development.
A successful candidate will have an in-depth and excellent understanding of Python and come from a finance background.
