The Role:
Our nationwide Non Mechanical division hires a range of equipment including crowd control barriers, scaffolding, and road plates to the events industry, alongside our more traditional business sectors within construction, utilities, and infrastructure sectors.
As a General Manager at GAP, you will manage your own Profit Centre and influence all aspects of Depot Operations – from staff recruitment and motivation to purchasing equipment and supplies.
You will be an experienced Manager seeking a new challenge, capable of leading your team to perform at their best. With an in-depth understanding of our business, you will generate new ideas to drive your depot forward and be at the forefront of customer interaction.
About You
Successful applicants should demonstrate:
* Previous operational management experience
* Experience within Non Mechanical preferred but not essential
* Drive & motivation to deliver tangible results
* A full UK driving licence
* A high level of IT literacy – particularly in Word and Excel
