Vehicle Technician /MOT Tester Required in Bolton
1. Working Hours: Mon–Fri shifts between 8am–6pm, plus 1-in-4 Sat mornings (8:30am–12:30pm)
2. Salary: up to £35,500 basic + overtime + uncapped bonuses (OTE up to £39,500 pa)
We’re recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s leading automotive groups, now looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to strengthen their team.
Key Responsibilities for Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester:
3. Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
4. Conduct MOT testing in line with DVSA standards (if certified).
5. Ensure efficient, accurate, and first-time fixes with a solution-driven approach.
6. Embrace ongoing training and use of new technologies to stay ahead.
7. Collaborate with colleagues in a professional, supportive workshop environment.
What We’re Looking For in a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester:
8. Level 3 City & Guilds / NVQ in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
9. Proven industry experience (main dealer experience advantageous).
10. DVSA MOT Testing certification (desirable but not essential).
11. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently.
12. Full UK driving licence and own tools.
