Fire Alarm Service Engineer - London & Surrounding Areas

While our operational resources are primarily based around London, we proudly offer national coverage through our reactive delivery model.
Our Fire Alarm Service Engineer's
Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on fire detection systems at customer sites, ensuring they are kept in good working order and in accordance with current regulations and standards.
1. Maintain, service, and commission fire alarm and emergency lighting systems across a variety of platforms and customer sites.
2. Undertake fire alarm installations in line with industry standards and company requirements.
3. Commission fire alarm systems, with a focus on Advanced and Kentec panels.
4. Plan, coordinate, and deliver routine maintenance visits and reactive call-outs within your designated area.
5. Interpret and apply technical drawings and wiring diagrams with accuracy and efficiency.
6. Diagnose and resolve system faults through effective fault-finding and problem-solving.
7. Lead and oversee small to medium-scale installation projects, providing guidance and support to the installation team to ensure quality and timely delivery.

8. Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and complete all associated documentation to a high standard.
9. Comprehensive knowledge of relevant regulations, including BS:, BS-1:, and BS-6:.
10. Proven commitment to delivering first-class customer service across all client interactions.
11. Previous experience as an electrician, or a strong knowledge and understanding of electrical systems, is essential.
12. Comfortable working in a physically demanding role when required.
13. Willingness and flexibility to travel across the UK as needed (with the longer-term aim of a regionally based role).
14. Demonstrates a collaborative approach, with the ability to support colleagues, share knowledge, and help train and upskill the workforce.
15. Full, clean UK driving licence is essential.
16. Relevant certificates of competency and industry-recognised qualifications.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
17. FIA Units 1–5 (or equivalent certification) desirable.
18. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification required.
