We are recruiting for a CAD Control & Instrumentation Designer to join our Hydrogen Engineering team in Glasgow. This role offers the chance to contribute to the design and construction of hydrogen production, storage, and delivery systems—an exciting and rapidly expanding sector across the UK and Europe. One of our flagship initiatives is the Aberdeen Hydrogen Hub, where Hydrasun serves as the principal provider of packaged equipment, custom design solutions, and integration services—demonstrating our leadership in delivering innovative hydrogen infrastructure. Essential Experience, Qualifications and Competencies * BTech or BEng in Electrical Engineering, Control & Instrumentation Engineering, or equivalent * Demonstrable experience in a similar CAD role * Strong background in oil & gas or EPC projects * Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical, E-Tap, E-Plan, SolidWorks or Inventor desirable * Understanding of international standards for electrical and C&I design * Ability to produce wiring diagrams, cable schedules, I/O lists, and interface drawings * Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with incomplete information Desirable Experience, Qualifications and Competencies * CAD qualifications or certification * Experience in multi-disciplinary engineering projects * Familiarity with hydrogen systems and renewable energy applications * Experience of carrying out site visits and surveys would be useful, but is not essential.
