We’re seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join a major UK infrastructure programme on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to influence financial performance and ensure robust cost control in a complex, high‑profile environment.
What you’ll do
* Provide financial assurance and challenge to drive accountability and value for money.
* Deliver accurate reporting, analysis, and commentary for senior stakeholders.
* Oversee month‑end and year‑end processes, ensuring compliance with IFRS and audit standards.
* Support business planning, forecasting, and budget management within funding caps.
* Collaborate with internal teams and supply chain partners to optimise cash flow and resource allocation.
What we’re looking for
* Qualified accountant with experience in complex environments (infrastructure or large‑scale projects preferred).
* Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, able to communicate complex financial issues clearly.
* Expertise in ERP systems, data analytics, and advanced Excel modelling.
* Knowledge of government accounting requirements and Managing Public Money principles.
