CAD Designer / Project Manager – Commercial Kitchens– Permanent Role – £30K+ DOE – Midlands-based\n\n * Do you have experience designing commercial kitchens, catering spaces, or bars?\n\n * Are you confident managing projects from concept to completion?\n\n * Have you used SketchUp CAD in a client-facing, fast-paced design environment?\n\nWhat’s the Opportunity?\n\nA growing, reputable client in the commercial catering and bar fit-out industry is looking for a CAD Designer / Project Manager to join their team on a permanent basis in Sheffield. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be producing layouts, coordinating installations, and managing client projects across a variety of sectors\n\nThis is ideal for someone with a passion for smart, functional design and an excellent understanding of commerical kitchens\n\nWhat you’ll be doing as a CAD Designer / Project Manager (but not limited to):\n\n * \n\n Creating 2D and 3D layouts using SketchUp CAD\n\n * \n\n Designing commercial kitchens and bar spaces for efficiency, flow, and compliance\n\n * \n\n Liaising with clients, suppliers, and contractors to bring projects to life\n\n * \n\n Managing projects from briefing through to installation and handover\n\n * \n\n Attending site visits and providing expert advice on catering layouts and equipment\n\n * \n\n Ensuring all designs meet health & safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards\n\nWhat’s in it for you?\n\n * \n\n Salary from £30,000+ DOE\n\n * \n\n Permanent, full-time role with flexible scope depending on experience\n\n * \n\n Exposure to high-profile and interesting commercial projects\n\n * \n\n Opportunity to work with a supportive, collaborative team\n\n * \n\n Career development in a growing business\n\nKey Skills and Experience:\n\n * \n\n Strong SketchUp CAD design skills (2D and 3D)\n\n * \n\n Previous experience designing commercial kitchens, bars or catering environments\n\n * \n\n Understanding of catering equipment, regulations and kitchen workflows\n\n * \n\n Confident project management experience from concept to completion\n\n * \n\n Excellent communication and organisational skills\n\n * \n\n Comfortable working independently and managing multiple projects\n\n * \n\n Full UK driving license (for occasional site visits)\n\nDesirable (but not essential):\n\n * \n\n M&E or ventilation coordination knowledge\n\n * \n\n Familiarity with HACCP and kitchen compliance standards\n\n * \n\n Experience working alongside fit-out or architectural teams\n\nInterested?
