- Manchester Position: HGV 2 Driver Location: Wheel Forge Way, Trafford Park, Stretford, Manchester M17 1EH, UK Salary: £17.00 per hour Job Overview Regular roster of 5 on 3 off shift, Start Time between 9am and 11am and finishing between 6pm and 8pm, Overtime rate of 1.5, Free onsite parking, complimentary meals and refreshments.

* Regular shift patterns Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Driving HGV 15
- 18 tonne company liveried vehicles in a secure & controlled environment
* Carrying out vehicle checks prior to use
* Loading and unloading catering uplifts to aircraft
* Liaison with flight crew and working in collaboration with other ground handling suppliers
* Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the vehicle
* Adhering to all Road Traffic Acts and additional Airport By- laws
* Additional duties such as Bar and stores packing or search and sealing will be a daily requirement along with any associated paperwork.
* Plus any additional warehouse duties Requirements of the HGV Driver:
* Valid clean HGV CAT C Driving Licence (up to 3 points will be considered)
* Digital Tachograph knowledge and possession of a digital tachograph card
* Driver CPC qualification essential
* Previous HGV experience desirable, Airport Airside Driving would be an advantage
* Knowledge of the Road Traffic Act
* Previous experience in a catering or hospitality role is desirable but not essential.
You must be able to work shifts and be keen to learn.

* All applicants must have the right to work in the UK, undertake a CRC (Criminal Record Check) and provide 5 years of checkable referencing history.
