We’re looking for a confident, commercially minded Business Development Manager to join our team at MAP Building & Civils Supplies in Ilkeston.
If you know your way around building and civils materials and love turning opportunities into long-term customer relationships, this is your chance to make an impact with a trusted local merchant that’s part of the Lords Group of companies.
What you’ll do:
* Grow sales with new and existing trade and civils customers
* Build strong local relationships through regular site and customer visits
* Promote MAP’s full product range and deliver top-class service
* Prepare and follow up on quotes to convert enquiries into orders
* Work closely with the branch team to achieve sales and margin targets
What you’ll bring:
* Proven sales or business development experience in the builders’ merchant or civils sector
* Great local market knowledge and strong communication skills
* A proactive, results-driven approach and real pride in what you do
* Confidence negotiating prices and managing customer accounts
* Full UK driving licence
