Management Accountant Wisbech £35,000 - £50,000 (Depending on Experience)
An independent accountancy practice with a broad range of clients is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join its friendly and supportive team. This is a varied and client-facing role, ideal for someone looking to grow into an Assistant Manager position in the near future.
Role Responsibilities
* Prepare regular management accounts for a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors.
* Act as the first point of contact for client queries, particularly relating to accounting software such as QuickBooks and Xero.
* Support and train clients on bookkeeping and software-related issues.
* Review bookkeeping and management accounts prepared by junior staff.
* Assist in onboarding new clients and maintaining high-quality client relationships.
* Collaborate with the wider team to improve internal processes.
* Provide ad hoc payroll cover during periods of absence or holiday.
* Contribute to the overall delivery of high-quality client service within the practice.
Personal Requirements
* ACA/ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience.
* Solid experience preparing management accounts within a UK accountancy practice.
* Confident using cloud-based accounting systems, especially QuickBooks and Xero.
* Proactive, organised, and able to take ownership of tasks.
* Strong communication skills and a client-focused mindset.
* Keen to progress into an Assistant Manager role with responsibility for reviewing files and mentoring others.
