Systems Administrator - Linux/AWS - Retail - Hertford
This role is working full time 5 days a week in the Hertford office
Joining this fast-paced infrastructure team the Systems Administrator will oversee and maintain internal payments, local infrastructure, data centre and cloud deployments, day-today operations and networks and ensure optimal system performance, security and operational functionality.
In this role, you will proactively address technical challenges and implement innovative solutions to meet evolving business needs and support challenges.
Key responsibilities:-
* Manage and ensure the seamless operation and availability of new and existing infrastructure
* Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware and networking issues across internal and client systems
* Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation for system administration and procedural workflows
* Work collaboratively with the support, DevOps and Project teams to align with and support business needs
* Develop and implement repeatable solutions, utilising change control and where required, version control best practices
Key skills:-
* Systems Administration experience
* Strong Linux and Windows administration
* AWS
* LDAP & AD management
* Scripting (Bash, Python and PowerShell)
* Strong security experience in Firewall hardware and software
* Strong networking experience
* Previous experience working in the Retail market is highly desirable
* Previous experience supporting PCI/DSS environments or ISO27001is highly desirable
