Were working with a friendly and supportive GP Practice in South Shields that urgently requires an experienced Clinical Coder on a temporary basis to help clear a backlog of work.
The Role
You’ll be stepping into a busy practice environment where your expertise will be key from day one. This is a hands‑on role requiring accuracy, efficiency, and confidence using EMIS.
Key Duties
* Managing emails and filing medical records
* Scanning and processing clinical documents
* Accurate clinical coding of patient information
* Supporting the practice with backlog reduction
Essential Requirements
* Previous GP Administration experience
* Proven NHS Clinical Coding experience
* Strong working knowledge of EMIS (essential)
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work independently and hit the ground running
