Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Apprenticeship at North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College. Whilst on the job, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification delivered by the training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
Job Purpose
* Provide 1st line technical support and assistance to end-users across the company.
* Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, set up and configure computer systems, and assist in the maintenance and management of the company’s IT.
* Serve as a key point of contact for resolving IT‑related problems, ensuring smooth operations and contributing to the overall efficiency of the organisation.
Salary, Hours & Benefits
* £20,932 per annum for apprentices aged 18‑20
* £24,733 per annum for apprentices aged 21+
* Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
* 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
* Local Government pension scheme
Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge
* Basic understanding of computer systems, networks and software
* A willingness to learn from senior team members and contribute to the team
* Punctuality and reliability in fulfilling responsibilities and meeting deadlines
* Minimum Grade 5 in GCSE English and Grade 4 in GCSE Maths
Eligibility Criteria
You must have the right to work in the UK and valid residency status to apply for this apprenticeship.
Shortlisting Process
Each question is scored by a minimum of two people on the interview panel. Those applicants who achieve the highest overall score and meet the essential criteria for the role will progress to the interview stage, after which their application form will be considered.
