Teaching Assistant Location – West End Contract – Part Time and Full Time Start date – January 2026 We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and proactive Teaching Assistant to join one of our friendly and inclusive primary schools in West End. What we’re looking for: Experience supporting children in a primary school or similar educational setting. A positive, patient, and empathetic approach to learning and behaviour. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff. Flexibility to adapt to different learning needs and classroom environments. Reliability, enthusiasm, and a proactive attitude to supporting all learners. A relevant qualification such as Level 2 or Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (desirable but not essential). Your Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils, including those with additional or special educational needs. Assist class teachers in delivering engaging, inclusive lessons that promote progress and confidence for all learners. Support the preparation of classroom materials and contribute to a positive and stimulating learning environment. Promote positive behaviour, well-being, and independence among pupils. Work collaboratively with staff to create a safe, caring, and inspiring school experience for every child.
