Job Description: As the first dedicated Data Engineer, you will build the "single source of truth" for the hospitality industry. You'll own the design and maintenance of scalable ETL pipelines that centralize product and pricing data for 1,500+ venues, enabling seamless integrations with platforms like Deliveroo and major EPOS systems to power real-time commerce.

What you will do:

* Translate complex architectural decisions and data concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders and the broader product team.
The ideal candidate:
* Mid-to-senior level engineer (4-5 years) with deep expertise in TypeScript, SQL, and building robust data pipelines.
* Proven track record of managing AWS-native infrastructure and cloud-based integrations within a SaaS or high-growth startup environment.
* Strong system design skills with the ability to balance technical debt against the delivery of new features in an event-driven architecture.
