We are seeking a highly driven Business Analyst for an exciting fixed term contract opportunity within Financial Services. This role sits at the heart of our clients operational environment, supporting critical change initiatives at a time when the business is under significant pressure to deliver customer focused improvements.
This role is a 12 month fixed term contract with the potential to go permanent. This is a hybrid role that requires up to 3 days in their offices in Surrey.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct detailed analysis of operational processes, pain points, and regulatory gaps within insurance workflows.
2. Translate business needs into clear, structured requirements, user stories, and process documentation.
3. Map current-state and future-state processes with strong attention to operational constraints and compliance obligations.
4. Support initiatives involving FCA rules and guidelines.
5. Identify regulatory risks and help shape action plans to address them.
6. Partner closely with operational leaders to understand the real-world impact of change on teams, systems, and customers.
7. Build strong relationships quickly across operations, compliance, IT, and senior stakeholders.
8. Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and decision-making forums with confidence and clarity.
9. Analyse operational data, business performance metrics, and customer outcomes to support decision-making.
10. Provide clear, evidence-based insights and recommendations.
Skills & Experience Required:
11. Proven experience as a Business Analyst ideally within financial services.
12. Exceptional stakeholder management skills
13. Experience working in fast-paced, operational environments under pressure.
14. Ability to break down complex problems quickly and communicate recommendations clearly.
15. Excellent documentation skills: requirements, process maps, business cases, acceptance criteria, etc.
