Mobile Vehicle Engineer – Gloucester
Day shifts Monday‑Friday, 45‑hour week. Must travel to client workshops within Gloucester and surrounding area.
Key Responsibilities
* Callouts
* Preventative Maintenance
* Emergency Breakdowns
* Pre‑arranged servicing at rural sites
* MOT Preparation
* Engine work and diagnostic investigations
* Correction of running defects
* Chassis and fabrication work
* Hydraulics and pneumatics
* Improvement of vehicle standards
* Electrical and wiring inspections and corrections
Qualifications & Requirements
* Fully qualified Commercial Vehicle Technician or accredited via authorised apprenticeship
* Class 2 licence (beneficial)
* Experience with HGV, ground support GSE, RORO, fire and rescue, tractors and tugs, and other bespoke platforms
