We are seeking a skilled CNC Punch Technician to join our team in Ballykelly. This permanent role offers long-term development opportunities within a dynamic, ambitious company.
Main Responsibilities
1. Machine Setup & Operation: Set up and operate Trumpf punch machines according to specifications, ensuring proper alignment and tooling.
2. Material Handling: Load and feed raw sheet metal into the punch press correctly.
3. Quality Control: Inspect parts for accuracy and surface quality using measuring tools.
4. Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance and resolve machine issues to minimize downtime.
5. Production Monitoring: Ensure production stays on schedule and adjust machine settings as needed.
6. Safety & Documentation: Follow safety protocols, maintain a clean workspace, and complete logs and checklists.
7. Collaboration & Tooling: Work with team members and maintain punch tools and dies.
Qualifications & Skills
* Experience operating Trumpf punch presses or similar CNC machines.
* Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and machine setup.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
* Familiarity with measuring tools like calipers and micrometers.
* Strong troubleshooting and attention to detail.
* Good communication skills and team orientation.
Additional Information
Working hours: 40 hours/week, weekly night shifts on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
