Description: Our client is a global leader in the nuclear energy industry. The Role: As a Nuclear Scheduler, you will play a critical role in the successful planning and execution of the engineering activities for the high-profile project in the UK. You will work closely with project managers, engineering leads and external stakeholders to develop, monitor and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with key milestones, resource plans and risk management strategies. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain and update detailed project schedules (Primavera P6 or equivalent) for nuclear engineering and construction activities. Coordinate with engineering teams, procurement and construction partners to ensure schedules reflect real-time progress and constraints. Integrate schedule data across multiple work packages, ensuring consistency and critical path visibility. Conduct regular schedule reviews with project stakeholders and produce high-quality reports on project timelines, delays and impacts. Support the identification and mitigation of schedule risks and opportunities through impact analysis and forecasting techniques. Ensure alignment with project control standards and nuclear safety regulations. Liaise with teams in Europe and other international offices as required to align planning efforts across locations. Participate in project meetings, workshops, and reviews, providing expert planning input to support decision-making. Qualifications and Experience Essential: Proven experience as a scheduler/planner on complex engineering projects, ideally within the nuclear, energy, or infrastructure sectors. Proficiency in Primavera P6 (or equivalent project scheduling software). Strong understanding of project lifecycle, critical path analysis, and earned value management. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to manage complex interfaces between engineering, procurement, and construction disciplines. Desirable: Prior experience on EPR or similar nuclear reactor projects. Knowledge of UK nuclear regulatory environment and safety culture. French language skills (beneficial for communication with stakeholders).
