About the role
We are looking for a Shift Manager to work across our Restaurants & Quick Service Restaurant department at Bognor Regis. Reporting to the Venue Manager, the Shift Manager will be responsible for ensuring daily operational plans are fulfilled by overseeing that relevant tasks and objectives are completed by the team. The role requires ensuring the team is in the right place at the right time to manage fluctuating guest demand while maintaining high operational standards and guest experience.
You will support and coach the team to deliver a great experience and drive key targets such as add-on sales or promotions. This is a guest-facing, operational role; non-guest-facing tasks will be allocated within your working hours to maximize your presence within the venue and with guests.
This role involves a 40-hour, 5-day workweek over 7 days, requiring flexibility. Shifts vary between 6am and 3am. As with all roles at Butlin’s, adaptability and a proactive attitude are essential to ensure guest satisfaction remains your top priority.
About You
We seek an experienced leader from a volume-led or branded fast-food environment, or similar, capable of supporting the team to deliver exceptional service. You should prioritize guest satisfaction and have experience in training and coaching staff in a lively environment to achieve excellence.
You should have previous leadership experience in a fast-paced restaurant or fast-food setting where speed and quality are crucial. Confidence in directing and responding to various situations while maintaining brand standards is important.
Strong leadership skills are required to motivate and engage your team, especially during peak periods. You should be adept at managing multiple priorities and adapting quickly to changing circumstances. Your ability to inspire your team to achieve outstanding results daily will be key to your success.
