Morehall Primary is seeking and an inspirational, highly-motivated and dedicated Vice Principal at our unique primary school. This role is ideal for someone with strong classroom practice and middle leadership experience looking to take the next step in their career, or an experienced leader looking for a new challenge. The successful candidate will have excellent support from a skilled Principal and the Trust Executive Team, and will benefit from the many advantages of being part of a successful Multi-Academy Trust.
We offer an inclusive and vibrant working environment, with our vast outdoor spaces, Forest School, Art room, Music rooms and skateboarding lessons amongst many exciting additions to our creative curriculum, complementing our strong core curriculum offer. We are looking for someone who will:
1. Have proven leadership experience at whole school level, positively impacting on pupil outcomes and wellbeing
2. Understand how children learn best and a firm grounding in research-based practice
3. Have experience effectively coaching, mentoring & working alongside others to enhance practice across the school
4. Be an exceptional classroom teacher- the position includes a class teaching responsibility for part of the week
5. Employ excellent interpersonal skills, supporting colleagues, parents and pupils to make a great team and improve provision
6. Have the drive to make a real difference to the lives of pupils in an area of coastal disadvantage and fully embrace the diverse community
7. Be able to shape the teaching and learning strategy of the school to ensure the needs of all pupils are met effectively
8. Show optimism, positively and ambition for the school, its pupils and the Trust
9. Work collaboratively with senior leaders across the school and Trust to maintain excellent outcomes
10. Lead on specific areas of school improvement, as outlined in strategic documentation, including the SDP
