Quality Engineer – ManufacturingSalary: £45,000The RoleAs the Quality Engineer, you will support all quality activities across the manufacturing process, ensuring products meet customer, regulatory and internal standards. You will work closely with Production, Engineering and Supply Chain teams to maintain robust quality systems and resolve quality issues promptly and effectively.Key ResponsibilitiesLead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actionsSupport internal and external audits, maintaining ISO/AS quality standardsDrive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturingDevelop and update quality documentation, SOPs and work instructionsLiaise with customers and suppliers on quality concernsAnalyse data to identify trends and areas for improvementProvide shop floor support and guidance to ensure adherence to quality processesAbout YouPrevious experience in a Quality Engineer or similar quality role within manufacturingStrong understanding of quality tools such as 8D, FMEA, SPC and RCAExperience working to ISO 9001 or similar standardsConfident communicator with the ability to influence at all levelsAnalytical mindset with strong problem-solving skillsProactive, organised and able to manage multiple priorities
