Job Overview
Part‑time City Centre Ambassador – 22.2 hours per week including weekends. Working shifts from 07:30 to 20:00. The role requires prolonged walking in all weathers and the ability to work outdoors.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide a warm welcome to visitors and residents in the City Centre.
* Work alongside partner organisations to maintain a vibrant, clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
* Report and deal with a variety of incidents and enquiries from the public, visitors and businesses.
* Handle complaints and enquiries, using knowledge of the City Centre.
* Demonstrate a customer‑focused, friendly and engaging attitude in all interactions.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Customer focus, excellent communication skills, friendliness, a positive can‑do attitude, willingness to work outdoors and in varied weather, and a sound knowledge of the City Centre.
Salary
Starting salary at the bottom of the grade. If your basic pay is above the grade minimum, salary can be adjusted accordingly.
