We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking person to join our kitchen team for an average of 1 - 3 shifts a week. We are looking for someone passionate about food who works well under pressure. During the summer months, shifts are quieter, but they increase from September through June.
Pay: £12.80ph + tips and a bonus scheme, paid every 4 weeks.
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
* Assist head chef in prep and service
* Produce high-quality food quickly and efficiently
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and follow food hygiene laws
* Assist the head chef with deliveries and deep cleans
* Take instruction from the kitchen and venue manager
Qualifications Needed: Must have a Level 2 Food Hygiene Training and Certificate.
Things To Know:
* Shifts start between 5pm - 6.30pm and generally finish between 9.00pm and 10.00pm.
* We don't provide transport home but allow leaving at a reasonable time to use public transport if informed in advance.
* The first hour of service can be intense; ability to work well under pressure is essential. We aim to serve up to 250 customers before the show starts.
* Previous experience in a busy kitchen is preferred.
* Must be able to work weekends and evenings, including most of December and 31st December.
