Overview
Receptionist for a Creative Wellness Studio — Location: Birmingham Studio (onsite). Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 1.30pm – 9.30pm with flexibility to increase hours as and when.
You will be the first point of contact for members and guests, creating a warm, welcoming experience while keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes. This is a role for someone who takes pride in delivering excellent service and enjoys variety in daily tasks within a community, wellbeing, or lifestyle space.
Responsibilities
* Greet all members and visitors with a professional, friendly attitude
* Manage class bookings, check-ins, and cancellations efficiently
* Respond to member inquiries via email, in person, and social media
* Process payments and manage billing queries
* Troubleshoot account issues or escalate where needed
* Coordinate with external services (cleaning, maintenance, etc.)
* Monitor and replenish essential stock and merchandise
* Help maintain a safe and organised studio environment
Qualifications/Requirements
* Experience in a receptionist, front-of-house, or hospitality role
* A confident communicator with a calm, friendly presence
* Highly organized, detail-focused, and able to multitask
* Flexible and willing to support occasional weekend events
* Passion for wellness, fitness, or creative industries is a bonus
* Able to work afternoon to evening shifts (1:30 pm–9:30 pm)

This role is onsite in Birmingham. Pay ranges and other postings are provided by the employer; actual pay will be based on skills and experience.
