Decontamination Process Technician - Day Shift (Rotational)
Stoke Hospital Sterile Services Unit (ST5 7UF) | Permanent | Full Time | Salary up to £23,419.50 per annum £12.01 per hour (Fully trained applicants will automatically start on higher rate)
37.5 hours a week on a rotational shift mid-week
Week 1: Monday to Friday 06.00am till 14.00pm
Week 2: Monday to Friday 12:00pm till 20.00pm

As a Decontamination Process Technician at our Stoke HSSU, you’ll bring a basic standard of general education with proven literacy and numeracy skills. You’re organised with good communication skills – and ideally, you’re able to show evidence of sterile services training however, full training will be provided.
As a Decontamination Process Technician, you will:
1. Help to ensure all equipment/medical instruments are in good working order.
2. Regularly check medical equipment for damage and report any faults.
3. Maintain a clean and tidy work environment.
4. Take action to resolve any problems.
5. Escalate issues where necessary.
6. Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with our policies and procedures.
7. Handle manual handling duties up to 13kg.
8. Have strong attention to detail and an overarching desire to deliver a high quality service.
