The name Hasler is synonymous with Swiss quality in the railway market worldwide. To expand our team, we are seeking to hire a Logistics Specialist in Manchester, for 5 to 6 hours per day.
Main responsibilities:
1. Receiving and Inspection: Receive and inspect incoming equipment and spare parts, verify documentation, and log any damages or discrepancies.
2. Warehouse & Inventory Management: Store materials properly, maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, ensure proper stock segregation, and support reordering by monitoring stock levels.
3. Internal Material Flow: Pick and deliver parts for repair orders, ensuring FIFO and traceability; track material usage; manage return and reallocation of unused parts; prepare and pack repaired units for shipment with correct documentation; coordinate with carriers for dispatch and resolve logistics issues.
4. Systems & Compliance: Record all material movements in Oracle, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with internal procedures, safety standards, and regulations.
Requirements:
* Experience in logistics and warehouse management in a similar role.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* ERP/Oracle knowledge is a plus.
