Are you a CNC machinist in the toolmaking or precision engineering industry, looking to join a growing company that provide excellent opportunities for progression and skill development?
This company are a well-established business with multiple sites across the UK. They create precise tooling equipment and components for small companies and Blue Chips alike, in the medical and pharmaceutical industries. The Bridgwater site is home to a skilled team of machinists and a range of Heidenhain and Siemens controls.
On offer is the opportunity to become a vital asset to the business. You will be carrying out machining duties and assembly daily, while also programming in CAM. The ideal candidate will be a strong relationship builder who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with a friendly team.
This role would suit a CNC machinist, with experience using 3-axis or 5-axis machines, looking to join a growing side of a well-established business who will develop your career.
Responsibilities
* Operating and programming machinery, using manual and CAM programmes
* Assemble components and finished products
* Machine aluminium plate and small amounts of steel parts
* Liaise closely with the production team to ensure efficient and timely delivery of projects
Qualifications
* Experience in a CNC machinist role
* Ideally CAM programming experience
* Full UK driving licence
