With multiple offices across Central and Southern England and ambitious expansion plans, we are creating a new opportunity for a Payroll Specialist to join our Northampton team. This is a permanent, full-time role with hybrid and flexible working options.
The Role
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
* Providing payroll services to a diverse client portfolio
* Processing payrolls on various schedules
* Managing starters and leavers, statutory payments, RTI submissions, pension deductions, etc.
* Setting up and ceasing PAYE schemes with HMRC
* Acting as primary contact with HMRC for PAYE matters
* Calculating auto-enrolment pension deductions and ensuring compliance
* Uploading pension contributions and starters to portals
* Submitting BACS files and HMRC RTI information
* Preparing P45s, P60s, starter declarations, and other forms
* Liaising with clients to ensure payroll data accuracy and support
* Communicating with clients, staff, directors, and HMRC
* Supporting clients with payroll system operations
* Assisting team members as needed
